An investigation into unpublished stroke research data has revealed that 19.6% of completed clinical trials, which could potentially influence patient care, are not published in full. Researchers writing in BioMed Central's open access journal Trials describe how these unpublished studies included more than 16,000 participants and tested 89 different interventions.
An international team comprising researchers from the University of Bristol, and Hunan and Central South Universities in China, have prepared biocompatible protocells that generate nitric oxide gas – a known reagent for blood vessel dilation - that when placed inside blood vessels expand the biological tissue.
Vision-Sciences, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule ("FSS") Contract from the General Services Administration ("GSA") for its flexible endoscopy product lines. The contract period is from October 15, 2010 – October 14, 2015. This GSA contract enables access to the company's technology for all federal healthcare facilities, including the Veterans Administration, Indian Health Service, and Department of Defense facilities.
