The company announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire KNC (KRAEVOY NEFROLOGICHESKIY CENTR), a private operator of dialysis clinics in Russia's Krasnodar region. The acquired operations will add approximately $25 million in annual revenue and are expected to be accretive to earnings in the first year after closing of the transaction.

The advocates fear that a recent spate of measures, including one recently approved by lawmakers in Alabama, could roll back availability of abortions, while a debate in Virginia on the issue opens a chasm among lawmakers.
