Hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) caused by infection with pneumococcal bacteria leads to severe illness—with a high rate of irreversible kidney damage—in infants and young children, reports a study in the September issue of The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal.
Boehringer Ingelheim announced results from the OTIVACTO study, an observational European real-world study of 7,443 Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patients treated with Spiolto Respimat, which were presented today at the European Respiratory Society International Congress 2018 in Paris, France
Titan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today reported that the company expects to receive a royalty payment of approximately $55,000 on second quarter 2010 sales of Fanapt (iloperidone) of approximately $693,000. This reflects a significant decrease from first quarter sales which, as is customary, included substantial initial product stocking in the distribution channels.
