Cryo-Cell International, Inc., one of the world's largest and most established family cord blood banks and global stem cell innovators, today announced at the annual meeting of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) that the Company has formalized an industry-exclusive agreement with MedTech For Solutions, Inc., a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) representing a member network of 115 practices specializing in reproductive medicine, which operates in conjunction with The Broadlane Group.
According to a new study published last week in Intensive Care Medicine, a novel bedside blood test measured in critically ill patients being admitted to the intensive care unit can help to identify which patients are at risk for acute kidney injury (AKI). The study carried out in Vicenza, Italy, tested blood samples collected during admission to the ICU using the Triage® NGAL Test, a product currently sold by Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. outside of the United States.
Jeffery Dusek, PhD, Director of Research at University Hospitals (UH) Connor Integrative Health Network and Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Case Western Reserve University, and colleagues were recently awarded a 3-year, $2+ million grant from the National Center of Complementary and Integrative Health, part of the National Institutes of Health.
Some people suffering from severe mental illness, particularly schizophrenia, hear "voices," known as auditory hallucinations.
North Carolina's $25 Summer Card Pilot program successfully encouraged more adults to get a COVID-19 vaccine at a time when the pace of vaccination in North Carolina was slowing.
