The proportion of early-stage drug trials tackling the biggest cancer killers has declined sharply since the early 1990s as less common tumor types receive increasing attention, according to new research to be presented during the International Congress on Targeted Anticancer Therapies 2019, taking place from today to 27 February in Paris, France.
Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. today reported revenue of $117.8 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, and net income of $1.2 million, or $0.04 per diluted share. This compares to revenue of $149.0 million in the prior year quarter and net income of $2.3 million, or $0.07 per diluted share. Cash flow from operations for the second quarter of 2010 was $13.4 million.

When appropriate child safety restraint systems-based on a child's age and weight-are in use during motor vehicle crashes, the rates of mortality and serious injury significantly decrease. Most parents don't know that their older children-ages 4 to 8-should use additional measures to protect them from serious injury or death in case of a crash.
In a region known more for its rainfall than sunshine, a team of Portland dermatologists representing the Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS) will return for the third time in six years to the LPGA Safeway Classic to promote sun safety for all seasons and skin types. This picturesque yet often cloudy venue has proven to draw golf lovers who need greater awareness about skin protection, as shown by the previous screenings' 37% skin cancer discovery rate.
