ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) and its co-plaintiffs today announced that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (the "Federal Circuit") has granted their petition for rehearing en banc and has vacated its April 2009 decision in the appeal that Eli Lilly and Co. filed in 2008. All twelve judges of the Federal Circuit will now rehear and reassess the merits of Lilly's appeal.
Dr Susan Mayson, of the Department of Management in the Faculty of Business and Economics, said that of the approximately 30 per cent of Australian women who had access to paid maternity leave, most were well paid and highly valued workers.
A new study by University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center researchers suggests that targeting a protein known as collagen XIII could be key for suppressing breast cancer metastasis.
