According to new survey data released yesterday by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, enrollment in doctoral nursing programs increased by more than 20% this year, signaling strong interest among students in careers as nursing scientists, faculty, primary care providers, and specialists.
Seattle Genetics, Inc. announced today that it has achieved a milestone under its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) collaboration with Agensys, Inc., an affiliate of Tokyo-based Astellas Pharma Inc. The milestone was triggered by Agensys' initiation of a phase I trial for AGS-16M8F, an ADC for the treatment of cancer utilizing Seattle Genetics' technology.
Findings from Abbott's SPIRIT IV trial, one of the largest randomized clinical trials comparing two drug eluting stents, with 3,690 U.S.-based patients, were published today in The New England Journal of Medicine.
The routine use of a molecular testing panel developed at UPMC greatly increases the likelihood of performing the correct initial surgery for patients with thyroid nodules and cancer, report researchers from the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), partner with UPMC CancerCenter.
