Interim results from Phase 1 study of ENMD-2076 in refractory MM patients presented at ASH 2010

EntreMed, Inc., today announced the presentation of data for its Phase 2 oncology drug candidate, ENMD-2076 an Aurora A/angiogenic kinase inhibitor. Data from the Phase 1 studies with ENMD-2076 in patients with multiple myeloma and relapsed or refractory leukemia were presented by EntreMed investigators during poster sessions at the 2010 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting being held December 4-7 in Orlando, Florida.

A survey of first-year Grand Valley State University students showed the biggest barrier to receiving a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine was moral or religious beliefs, or a perceived promotion of sexual behavior, according to graduate physician assistant researchers.

A nursing home (also called skilled nursing facility) is a facility or distinct part of an institution whose primary function is to provide medical, continuous nursing, and other health and social services to patients who are not in an acute phase of illness requiring services in a hospital, but who require primary restorative or skilled nursing services on an inpatient basis above the level of intermediate or custodial care in order to reach a degree of body functioning to permit self care in essential daily living.

A skilled nursing facility (SNF) may be a freestanding facility or part of a hospital that has been certified by Medicare to admit patients requiring subacute care and rehabilitation.
