On the eve of the National Day of Mourning for workers killed on the job, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is releasing two studies highlighting the need for improved health and safety enforcement and regulation.
An international team of scientists including CureLab Oncology, Inc. (Boston), University of Camerino (Italy), and Boston University have serendipitously discovered a DNA vaccine, which systemically alleviates chronic inflammation in the body. Since osteoporosis is an inflammatory disease, preventive and therapeutic effects of the new vaccine were demonstrated on mouse models with osteoporosis.
Kessler Foundation is one of three sites participating in a study of noninvasive brain stimulation to improve upper limb function funded by the U.S. Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs titled, "Improving Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Interventions by Retraining the Brain."
