A team of scientists from the National University of Singapore (NUS) has found that activating a family of small protein, known as Rho, could suppress liver malignancies.
Novartis announced today that the US Food and Drug Administration has approved Entresto™ tablets, previously known as LCZ696, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic heart failure and reduced ejection fraction.
Prior failed ipsilateral percutaneous vascular intervention in patients with critical limb ischemia predicts poor outcome after lower extremity bypass, according to a study from the 64th Vascular Annual Meeting presented by the Society for Vascular Surgery.
According to researchers from University of Sheffield, dirty laundry can attract bed bugs and there is a rise in these parasites that bite and carry a host of diseases. Their study is published in the journal Scientific Reports.
Palos Community Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center announced April 2 plans to join together to create an innovative affiliation in Illinois.
