The Ensign Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG), announced today that it has acquired three Utah skilled nursing facilities, South Valley Care Center in West Jordan, a suburb of Salt Lake City, Rock Canyon Rehab & Care Center in Provo, and Castle Country Care Center in Price.
Some antiabortion groups in recent years have opened pregnancy counseling centers in or near facilities that provide abortions and are offering "medical services," including sonograms, to pregnant women who visit the centers, the Washington Post reports.
In recognition of his significant contributions to studying how best to provide health care, Edward H. Wagner, MD, MPH, has been named the 2011 recipient of the William B. Graham Prize for Health Services Research.
