Human Genome Sciences closes public offering of new issued shares

Human Genome Sciences, Inc. today announced the closing of its public offering of 17,825,000 newly issued shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $26.75 per share, which includes 2,325,000 shares sold upon exercise by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares.
