The Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Medical Center today became the first hospital in the tri-state area to adopt a new minimally invasive medical device to treat patients with severe aortic stenosis who are too ill or frail to have their aortic valves replaced trough traditional open-heart surgery.
Max Planck researchers have uncovered the mechanism by which the new genetically engineered tuberculosis vaccine functions.
