Mylan Inc. today announced that its subsidiary Mylan Laboratories Limited has entered into an agreement with Gilead Sciences, Inc. under which Mylan has licensed the non-exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) as both a single agent product and in combination with other drugs.

Doctors practicing IVF often transferred multiple embryos to a woman's body at once, in the hope that at least one of them would lead to a successful pregnancy. That changes now as a new study from researchers at the University of Iowa in Iowa City found that women who had only one embryo transferred during IVF didn't have lower chances of getting pregnant, but they did have a lower risk of giving birth to twins than women who had multiple embryos transferred.
A new study shows that babies who weigh more at any gestational age have a higher risk of later developing food allergies or eczema in childhood. However, there was no increase in the risk of hay fever. The paper published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology found that the risk of food allergy went up by 44% and of eczema by 17% for each kilogram of added weight. On the other hand, restricted growth in the womb appears to be protective.
