Nearly of 300 of the world's leading researchers focused on the problem of prostate cancer will begin a three-day meeting today to discuss the latest scientific data and breakthroughs in prostate cancer. The meeting, held in Incline Village at Lake Tahoe in Nevada, is the 16th Scientific Retreat sponsored by the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF).
The use of a new class of drugs in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, so called SGLT2 inhibitors, are linked to a twofold increased risk for lower-limb amputation as well as diabetic ketoacidosis, a serious diabetes complication.

A team from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre sheds light on fathers' mental health by releasing the first study to report the prevalence of antenatal depression symptoms among Canadian men.
