The World Health Organization has published new guidelines underlining the effectiveness of antiretroviral drugs to prevent the transmission of HIV from seropositive mothers to their children.
A new study by researchers at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health has found that diets high in red and processed meat, sugary beverages, and refined grains promote inflammation in the body and increase the subsequent risk of heart disease and stroke.
The Isle of Pink will be returning to the Isle of Wight for the third year running this September and this year Breast Cancer Campaign is aiming to make the event even bigger (and pinker!) than before.
St. Mary Medical Center has completed Phase 2 of its Emergency Department and Trauma Center expansion. To celebrate this event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, April 9, at 9 a.m., in the newly renovated Emergency Department.
