US Oncology, Inc., the nation's premier oncology services company supporting the nation's largest network including more than 1,300 oncologists and more than 10,000 clinicians and cancer experts to advance cancer care in America, was honored on Feb. 6, by Texas Governor Rick Perry at the Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Football Challenge in El Paso, Texas. The ATS Foundation and Breathe California of Los Angeles have awarded $80,000 to Harry Rossiter, PhD, a lead researcher at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute, to study the effectiveness of pulmonary rehabilitation in reducing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms in an underserved population in Los Angeles.
