Clontech Laboratories, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Takara Bio Inc., and TET Systems (TET), a privately-held German biotech company based in Heidelberg, today announced that they have signed an amendment to their existing license agreement. Under the expanded license agreement, Clontech obtains rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize novel Tet Systems products as the Tet-On® 3G™ Inducible Expression System.
A vast majority of leaders in health care and health policy believe Medicare has been successful in providing access to care and stable coverage to the elderly and disabled individuals; however only a small percentage think the program has realized its potential to achieve other important goals, like using its leverage as the country's largest purchaser of services to control costs and promote a high performance health system.
The Myeloproliferative Disorders Foundation has awarded $750,000 to establish the MPD Research Alliance, a collaboration of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic to accelerate drug development for incurable, progressive bone marrow disorders.
Various intervention strategies have been implemented to curb the rise of HIV, and a factor that might affect exposure to interventionsis gender.
