Johns Hopkins researchers who conducted a dozen focus groups with 70 straight and gay/bisexual Hispanic and African-American males ages 15 to 24 report that gaining a better understanding of the context in which young men grow up will allow health care providers to improve this population's use of sexual and reproductive health care.
"One of the major issues that Chief Medical Officers (CMO) encounter in their day to day practice is the variety of countries that they deal with and the different regulatory issues that they need to solve."
A study of more than 35,000 smokers has found that women smoke fewer cigarettes than men but are less likely to quit. The research is presented at ESC Congress 2021.
The Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare – a coalition of home health providers dedicated to improving the integrity, quality, and efficiency of home healthcare for our nation's seniors – today warned that additional across-the-board cuts by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services made in the Final Home Health Prospective Payment System Rule for calendar year 2016 could threaten access to patient preferred, cost effective and clinically advanced care for America's home health patients, whom data show are already at significant risk.
