An enzyme with an elusive role in severe inflammation may be a key mechanism driving COVID-19 severity and could provide a new therapeutic target to reduce COVID-19 mortality, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
Unfortunately, studies show that only about 5 million people living with OAB seek care from a doctor, and only half of those patients seek a specialist like a urologist or urogynecologist for treatment. It's time to see a doctor if you're using multiple leakage pads per day, not doing things you like because of the fear of leakage, planning all your travel around bathroom locations, or are worried about the problem every day.
Researchers have identified several new genes responsible for Alzheimer's disease (AD) including those leading to functional and structural changes in the brain and elevated levels of AD proteins in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
Catalan researchers have studied the acquisition and development of language in babies on the basis of the temporary coordination of gestures and speech. The results are the first in showing how and when they acquire the pattern of coordination between the two elements which allows them to communicate very early on.
