Obesity is not significantly associated with psychiatric disease course in patients with bipolar disorder (BD), Canadian researchers report.
Described as a hotspot of botanical diversity, there are more than 20,000 indigenous plant species in South Africa. Several thousand of them are used by traditional healers every day in that country for treating a range of problems from the common cold to serious diseases such as AIDS.
Two-year follow-up of patients in the first-ever prospective, multi-center clinical trial evaluating a plaque removal product show promising results after treatment with the Diamondback 360® PAD System, a minimally invasive catheter system that removes hardened plaque to restore blood flow in arteries.
For all their sincerity and fervor, proponents of the personhood movement represent a small minority nationwide. In Gallup polls, support for a total abortion ban is almost exactly where it was in 1973 -;at just over 20%, despite a rise in backing for limitations. Most people certainly don't want homicide charges brought against women who choose to have abortions or doctors who perform them.
