Oxford BioTherapeutics and Berlin Chemie/ Menarini Biotech/ Menarini Ricerche (belonging to Menarini Group) announce today that they have initiated the first-in-human clinical study of OBT357 (MEN1112), a novel enhanced antibody for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Ashraf Ibrahim, Ph.D., principal investigator at LA BioMed who specializes in infectious diseases, was recently honored by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the ICAAC Program Committee in the area of Therapy and Prevention of Microbial Disease.
Intentionally sedating patients to unconsciousness until death is neither widely practiced nor supported by US physicians, a national survey indicates.
