A new Portland State study challenges the idea that youth with cognitive disabilities are unable or lack potential to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Corus Pharma announced yesterday that it has been selected as a member of FierceBiotech's annual "The Fierce 15." FierceBiotech Editor-in-Chief John D. Carroll observed "We applaud Corus' ongoing commitment to increasing the quality of life for people living with cystic fibrosis."
New research findings may help physicians determine which women have an increased risk of blood clots when taking tamoxifen for the management of breast cancer, a team led by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute investigators will report at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting.
A large study of intensive care patients in California found that public reporting of patient outcomes did not reduce mortality, but did result in reduced admission of the sickest patients to the ICU and increased transfer of critically ill patients to other hospitals.
