More than 6,000 internal medicine physicians, subspecialists, medical students, and allied health professionals from around the world will gather for the American College of Physicians' Internal Medicine Meeting 2015 from April 30 through May 2 (Thursday - Saturday) at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
A study based on more than 87,000 women and 47,000 men in the Nurses' Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study, looks at whether there is a link between colon cancer and alcohol, and if so at what level of consumption, and the importance of a family history of the disease. A total of 1,801 cases of colon cancer were diagnosed during follow-up from 1980 onwards.
The Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA) appreciates that today's provincial budget contains measures to support long term care homes in maintaining care and service levels to over 76,000 of Ontario's oldest and frailest citizens.
