In a new study published today in the inaugural issue of the Journal of Parkinson's Disease, an international group of researchers report that platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) restored function in rodents and shows promise as a clinical candidate drug for treatment of PD.
An international team of scientists including researchers at the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute and the University of Southern California found that an enzyme commonly used as a target for antidepressants may also promote prostate cancer growth.
Mexican-American children who show evidence of greater adaptation into American culture face significantly higher odds of being at high risk for Type 2 diabetes than those who do not similarly adapt, according to a University of North Texas Health Science Center study.
