Two proteins conspire to promote a lethal neurological disease, according to a study published online this week in the Journal of Experimental Medicine.
A group of researchers from the Department of Physical Education and Sport at the University of Seville have designed the educational program Safe Fall- Safe Schools, a pioneering initiative that aims to reduce the risk and seriousness of the injuries caused by backwards falls in children by means of the teaching of safe and protective techniques.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Trade Commission today announced a joint effort to remove products from the market that make unproven claims to treat, cure, and prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
Their study titled, "An Innovative Non-Pharmaceutical Intervention to Mitigate SARS-CoV02 Spread: Probability Sampling to Identify and Isolate Asymptomatic Cases," was released at the pre-publication and pre-peer review site medRxiv*.
