People who study or treat Alzheimer's disease and its earliest clinical stage, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), have focused attention on the obvious short-term memory problems. But a new study suggests that people on the road to Alzheimer's may actually have problems early on in processing semantic or knowledge-based information, which could have much broader implications for how patients function in their lives.
Ventas, Inc. said today that the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky has ruled that Ventas may immediately collect the $102 million compensatory damages judgment against HCP, Inc. that it was awarded by a federal jury in 2009.
During its annual industry conference Injury Sciences LLC announced the release of WrExpert Pro™, the next and most advanced generation of software for the scientific analysis of vehicle damages and related auto injury claims.
