Treatment with afatinib significantly reduced the risk of death by 19%, extending the survival of patients to a median of 7.9 months compared to 6.8 months on erlotinib.

BTG agrees to acquire PneumRx for $475 million

PneumRx, Inc., a leader in the field of interventional pulmonology, today announced that it has signed an agreement to be acquired by BTG Plc in a deal worth up to $475 million, based on an initial consideration of $230 million and up to $245 million in performance-related milestone payments.
