Geier Jr. Associate Professor, Marketing, Columbia Business School; and Professor Ricardo Montoya, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, reveals how pharmaceutical managers can maximize the return on marketing investments - by determining the physicians to target as well as when and how to target them.
CANTEL MEDICAL CORP., has entered into a definitive agreement with North American Science Associates, Inc. to acquire NAMSA's Sterility Assurance Monitoring Products division for $13.5 million in cash consideration. For the year ending December 31, 2015 this business had adjusted sales of $5.7 million.
Executives from pharmaceutical companies and health care payer and provider organizations convened at the "Selling Pharmaceuticals in 2015" forum in Philadelphia to discuss mutually beneficial partnerships that, if implemented, could replace the traditional model of selling drugs on price, features and benefits with a new model that focuses on quantifying and communicating total value.
