Acknowledging that COVID-19 may be here to stay, Oregon Health & Science University has laid out a series of steps to prepare patients for elective surgery following their illness.
Southeast Emergency Consultants, an emergency medicine physician group that contracts with hospitals throughout the Southeast, changed its name to Titan Emergency Group announced Ray Gyarmathy, M.D., F.A.A.E.M., the company's president. The group selected the name to kick off a period of aggressive growth to expand the number of hospitals where it provides emergency department staffing and support services. The new name better reflects the company's personality and eliminates any potential confusion related to its geographic service area.
The funding comes as a result of a ground breaking independent review by John Bercow MP, commissioned by Government, which identifies that communication is the key life skill for every child - if they are to achieve at school, make friends and be successful in later life.
A recently released report commissioned by the U.K. Department for International Development (DfID) examines research projects on agriculture for nutrition and "reveals eight gaps that are currently being neglected, including specific target groups - particularly rural workers and non-rural populations - as well as a lack of methodologies to guide research in the field," SciDev.Net reports.

In fact, if AD is a devastating disorder it is also an extremely slow one; it takes more than 10 years for the first symptoms to appear making this preclinical period (pre-symptoms) the ideal time to intervene.
