IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd.) (TSX: IDL), announced it was awarded three separate contracts in June 2009 with hospitals in India to supply its high end X-Series 1590 digital radiography (DR) systems and Magellan software following an extensive process in which the IDC CCD-based DR technology was determined to provide the best combination of value and clinical performance.

Led by the Basque R&D Alliance IK4, 13 organisations in 8 different countries have been conducting research for three years under the European LabOnFoil project to develop new rapid diagnostic devices.

The state will receive $152 million in federal money to pay for the new program a product of the health-care reform bill President Barack Obama signed into law in March. That's enough to cover about 5,000 people, said Carly Glick, spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Insurance."
