ECPI College of Technology announces that it is now ECPI University. The name change reflects the diversity of programs and various levels of education provided by the university.
Many people may have heard that on average our body weight is around 2/3 water of which 2.5 litres are lost daily. We get around 1 litre of water we need from our food but to balance the total loss the rest needs to be from the drinks we have. It's recommended to drink around 1.2 litres per day which is the equivalent of 8 x 150ml glasses.
As the specter of a worldwide outbreak of avian or "bird flu" lingers, health officials recognize that new drugs are desperately needed since some strains of the virus already have developed resistance to the current roster of anti-flu remedies.
A chart that enables parents and clinicians to calculate if a baby is crying more than it should in the first three months of its life has been created by a Kingston University London researcher, following a study of colic and crying in babies from across the world.
