In a paper recently uploaded to the preprint server medRxiv*, breakthrough infections are compared with infections in immunologically naïve individuals
After menopause, women with osteoporosis struggle more with urinary incontinence than women with healthy bones do. But physical therapy that includes pelvic floor muscle training can produce dramatic improvements, shows a study published online today in Menopause, the journal of The North American Menopause Society.
According to data from Connecticut insurers, the majority of health plans sold to individuals and small businesses provide less generous coverage - most likely, at a lower cost - than plans sold on the exchange will be required to provide. The analysis suggests that people buying insurance through the exchange could get plans that offer more coverage with lower out-of-pocket costs, but they would likely have to pay more for them.
A research group led by Professor NISHIMURA Noriyuki (Graduate School of Health Sciences, Kobe University) has developed a new method to monitor the residual disease after treatment in high-risk neuroblastoma patients.
Missouri's House speaker is calling on their state's attorney general to appeal a ruling that stops a state law from allowing employers to exclude contraception and abortion from insurance coverage.
