The first 'next generation' MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) body scanner in the world will be officially launched at Hope Hospital later this week (Friday 18th February).
The European Commission on Thursday began a two-day high-level meeting on nutrition in Brussels, aimed at "ensuring the cause remains atop the development agenda," the Devex "Development Newswire" reports.
Split liver transplantation (SLT) provides an opportunity to divide a donor liver and offer transplants to two small patients, one or both of whom could be a child.
