CSL Behring today announced a multi-year, $450 million two-site global capacity expansion – the latest in a series of recent production expansions to meet the growing need for its lifesaving and life-improving therapies that are used to treat patients with rare and serious medical disorders around the world.
According to a large international study middle-aged Americans are not as healthy as their British cousins.
"The G20 agriculture ministers seem to agree: they're all for food security, as long as it doesn't cost anything," according to a post on the Center for Global Development's "Rethinking U.S. Foreign Assistance Blog."
University of Minnesota researchers have discovered a variant of a common blood protein, apolipoprotein C1, in people of American Indian and Mexican ancestry that is linked to elevated body mass index (BMI), obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
