In a poll known as "Australia's Biggest Health Check" 26,000 responders showed that Australia's women feel stressed out and unfit and overworked. It also shows that they have barely half an hour of leisure time per day and the mismatch between how much sex women want versus what they get. The survey was promoted via two magazines - Women's Health and Prevention - and also had the backing of Priceline and the Seven Network's Sunrise program. There were 24,500 women and 1,500 men in on the poll.
A lot of the attention around "pandemic pets" has focused on families with children getting a cat, dog or other pet in 2020, during a time when many people were learning or working from home.
Last month, an article in the journal Health Affairs made headlines in the news media -; "Physicians Are Not Always Open or Honest with Patients." A vast majority of the nearly 2,000 doctors surveyed agreed that physicians should be fully open and honest in all their communications with patients. ... I suspect that the dishonesty that is being uncovered in a study such as this -; and frankly, I was amazed that the number of less-than-truthful instances was so low -; reveals more about the diagnosis of being human than anything else. ... I couldn't bring myself to tell this young mother that she was going to die."
Molina Healthcare, Inc. today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock. In connection with the offering, Molina Healthcare and the selling stockholder intend to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to 350,000 shares and 250,000 shares, respectively, to cover overallotments, if any. The offering is being conducted pursuant to an effective registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 8, 2008.
BSD Medical Corporation, the company that pioneered heat therapy applications, today reported that the Company has received CE Mark approval for the commercial sale of The MicroThermX Microwave Ablation System (MTX-180) in Europe. CE marking approval allows BSD to market the MTX-180 in the 30 countries that comprise the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
