With the advancement of surgical and radiation therapy strategies for stage 1 non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), more patients are being treated, resulting in higher survival rates, according to a study published online today in The Annals of Thoracic Surgery.
A new study published today in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology has found that taking Vitamin D supplements in pregnancy can positively modify the immune system of the newborn baby, which could help to protect against asthma and respiratory infections, a known risk factor for developing asthma in childhood.
NeoGenomics, Inc. announced today that it has been notified that the Qui Tam complaint filed against it and several other healthcare companies in 2009 has been voluntarily dismissed with prejudice by the relator in the case. As a result, no further action will be taken against NeoGenomics in this matter.
