Research finding could lead to new therapies for malignant glioma

Study: Mindfulness-based therapy lowers stress and blood sugar in overweight, obese women

In a randomized clinical trial of women who were overweight or obese, mindfulness-based stress reduction increased mindfulness and decreased stress compared with health education. In addition, fasting blood sugar levels decreased within the MBSR group, but not within the health education group.

State licensure is required in each state in which a PT practices.
