ImmuneRegen BioSciences to test efficacy of Homspera against H5N1 Avian Influenza

ImmuneRegen BioSciences, Inc.®, a wholly owned subsidiary of IR Biosciences Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: IRBS), today announced that its lead anti-influenza drug, Homspera, will be tested for efficacy against highly lethal H5N1 Avian Influenza in the laboratories of a widely respected University scientist. Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Xuriden (uridine triacetate), the first FDA-approved treatment for patients with hereditary orotic aciduria. Hereditary orotic aciduria is a rare metabolic disorder, which has been reported in approximately 20 patients worldwide.

It came as the result of a competitive two-region bidding process that increases the role of Amerigroup's Texas subsidiary in the STAR+PLUS program.

State licensure is required in each state in which a PT practices.
