Cognitive impairment affects majority of non-demented Swedish elderly

Both subjective and objective cognitive impairment are highly common among non-demented elderly Swedes, with an overall prevalence of 39 percent and 25 percent respectively, according to a nation-wide twin-study by researchers at the Aging Research Center of Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. The study confirms higher education as a major protective factor and stresses the importance of environmental aspects over genes in mild cognitive disorders in old age.

Healthcare Realty Trust Incorporated today announced results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009. Funds from operations ("FFO," as defined by the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, "NAREIT") per diluted common share for the three months ended December 31, 2009 totaled $0.35, compared with $0.49 for the three months ended December 31, 2008.

State licensure is required in each state in which a PT practices.
