Discovery Labs secures new Committed Equity Financing Facility with Kingsbridge

Discovery Laboratories, Inc., announced today that it has secured a new Committed Equity Financing Facility (2010 CEFF) with Kingsbridge Capital Limited, a private investment group, in which Kingsbridge has committed to provide up to $35 million of capital over a three-year period through the purchase of up to approximately 31.6 million newly-issued shares of Discovery Labs' common stock.

NYPNU serves a 10-day strike notice to Lenox Hill Hospital

The New York Professional Nurses Union (NYPNU) members voted overwhelmingly to strike at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Today, NYPNU has served Gladys George, President/CEO of Lenox Hill Hospital, with a 10-day strike notice and set a strike deadline of Monday, November 9.

Fewer children in UK diagnosed with ADHD than in USA

New research suggests that children are far less likely to be diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the UK than they are in the USA. However, the same study, led by the University of Exeter Medical School, suggests that autism diagnosis is still rising.

State licensure is required in each state in which a PT practices.
