Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTH), a Manhattan headquartered medical technology company testing its proprietary treatment method for primary and metastatic cancers to the liver, announced that it has signed a three-year lease with the option to buy on a 10,000 square foot facility in Queensbury, New York in which it plans to locate manufacturing of its Percutaneous Hepatic Perfusion (PHP(TM)) System.

AMRI has commenced enrollment for a Phase I study of ALB-127158(a), a novel MCH1 receptor antagonist offering a potential new approach for the treatment of obesity. The announcement was made yesterday during a presentation by AMRI's Dr. Peter Guzzo, director, discovery research and development, at the 6th Obesity and Diabetes Drug Development Summit in Arlington, VA. Preclinical data were also reported.
The main way companies are seeking to curb health care costs is by moving workers into high-deductible health plans, according to the survey by the National Business Group on Health. Nearly a third are offering such plans as the only option to their workers in 2015, the survey found.
