Aeterna Zentaris Inc. announced today that it has executed a definitive agreement with Ergomed PLC, pursuant to which Ergomed will manage the new, confirmatory Phase 3 clinical study to demonstrate the efficacy of Macrilen (macimorelin), a novel orally-active ghrelin agonist for use in evaluating adult growth hormone deficiency ("AGHD").
Researchers at Rochester Institute of Technology were awarded $3.2 million from the National Science Foundation for the project, "CONNECT: Increasing the Representation and Advancement of Women Faculty at RIT."
