Johns Hopkins Medicine and All Children's Hospital & Health System of St. Petersburg, Fla., have signed a letter of intent to integrate. After appropriate due diligence is completed sometime later this year, ACH will join the Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) as a fully integrated member of JHM.
Inspired by its Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) 2012-2015 report, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance recently launched a health improvement grant program. The new community program addresses specific cancer screening, early detection, and prevention needs for at risk populations in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
Losing a parent to suicide makes children more likely to die by suicide themselves and increases their risk of developing a range of major psychiatric disorders, according to a study led by Johns Hopkins Children's Center that is believed to be the largest one to date on the subject.
