The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has announced a partnership with Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein to pioneer multidisciplinary patient care in Brazil and advance MD Anderson's mission to eliminate cancer globally.
A team of researchers from Indiana University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center have been awarded a $4.1 million National Cancer Institute "Cancer Moonshot" grant to develop immunotherapy treatments for cancer in children and adolescents, especially those with leukemia.
Frequent spitting up, irritability, and unexplained crying in infants can be very distressing to parents. Pediatricians often prescribe acid-suppressing drugs for these symptoms in an effort to treat infants for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); however, GERD is an uncommon cause of these symptoms in otherwise thriving infants.
Marketing food as a 'snack' leads to increased consumption and continued overeating, a new study in the journal Appetite reports.
