Dark chocolate has already been hailed for its positive effects on cardiovascular health - and now a study undertaken at London's Kingston University has found the tasty treat could help give sports enthusiasts an extra edge in their fitness training.
Medtronic, Inc. today announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval and launch of the DF4 High-Voltage Connector System, a right ventricular lead and connector used with implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) and cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillators (CRT-Ds) to detect and accurately treat potentially life-threatening heart rhythms.
Claims are reportedly being made that higher than average cancer deaths in Innisfail, in north Queensland are due to the secret testing of Agent Orange there in 1960s.
"The White House has, for weeks now, rolled out popular health reform benefits well ahead of schedule, items like coverage for young adult children and tax credits for small business, hoping these early deliverables would shore up public support. But a new poll, released this morning by the Kaiser Family Foundation, suggests the accelerated implementation schedule has failed to sway a skeptical public—or even kept health reform's most ardent supporters on board."
But the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services chief says he remains entirely focused on the job at hand.
