Heptares Therapeutics, the leading GPCR structure-guided drug discovery and development company, achieved the first research milestone in its antibody therapeutics alliance with MorphoSys AG (FSE: MOR; Prime Standard Segment, TecDAX), announced in February 2013.
Antibiotic resistant E. coli was much more prevalent in villages situated along roads than in rural villages located away from roads, which suggests that roads play a major role in the spread or containment of antibiotic resistant bacteria, commonly called superbugs, a new study finds.
A new study published in the journal Nature Communications describes a breakthrough in research related to facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). The debilitating genetic disease - which has no approved treatment - affects an estimated 38,000 Americans and causes degeneration and wasting of the skeletal muscles.
July 28th is marked as world hepatitis day. The world is united in elimination of viral hepatitis by 2030. The World Health Organization (WHO) has published new data from 28 countries today and shown that nearly 70% of the world hepatitis burden is borne by these countries.
