The Johns Hopkins University, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHI), the international arm of Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, USA, and Academic Medical Centre Sdn Bhd, subsidiary of Chase Perdana Sdn Bhd, a Kuala Lumpur-based private development corporation, and an associate company of Turiya Sdn Bhd, have signed an agreement to help Malaysia develop its first fully integrated private four-year graduate medical school and teaching hospital.
Kaiser Permanente, one of America's leading health care providers and nonprofit health plans, announced today it approved more than 250 grants and donations nationwide totaling approximately $7 million in the first quarter of 2010.
