Researchers at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, will study how a hygiene robot - an intelligent shower - is perceived and received among care staff and residents in service homes in Karlstad, Sweden.The Health and care administration at Karlstad municipality will, as one of the first municipalities in Sweden, install and evaluate an intelligent shower.
Eating Disorder Hope, a respected independent resource for individuals suffering from anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and other body image and eating disorders, has expanded its Eating Disorder Specialist Library to further help sufferers of anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder find treatment options.
Previous research has shown that cannabinoids can help lessen side effects of anti-cancer therapies. Now a new British Journal of Pharmacology review has examined their potential for the direct treatment of cancer.
Cancer - popularly understood as a result of mutations or mistakes within the genetic code in cells - is also caused by infections from viruses, bacteria and parasites.
