(OTCQB: DMPI) ("DelMar" and "DelMar Pharma") today announced the presentation of interim data from a Phase 1/2 clinical trial for VAL-083 in recurrent glioblastoma (GBM) at the 4th Quadrennial Meeting of the World Federation of Neuro-Oncology (WFNO) being held in conjunction with the 18th Annual Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) meeting in San Francisco.
A new way to deliver therapeutic proteins inside the body uses an acoustically sensitive carrier to encapsulate the proteins and ultrasound to image and guide the package to the exact location required, according to Penn State researchers. Ultrasound then breaks the capsule, allowing the protein to enter the cell.
Relevare Pharmaceuticals Ltd. will present its recent Phase IIa proof-of-concept clinical trial data and extension study results for CNSB015 (flupirtine), its lead repositioned compound, at the Third International Congress on Neuropathic Pain on May 27 –30 in Athens, Greece.
A relatively simple and inexpensive method may be used to determine whether a lung cancer patient is a candidate for crizotinib therapy, according to research published in the August issue of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, the official monthly journal of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
